our Wedding Suite – the abbey Suite is just for you for the day! It overlooks the elegant gardens and
grounds and has a welcoming reception room for your drinks,and a magniﬁcent room for your Wedding
Breakfast which seats up to 180 guests with comfort. the sweeping chandeliers, the oak parquet ﬂoor

ArrANGING YOUr CIvIl CErEMONY
We are approved premises for the solemnization of Civil Weddings and Partnerships. We oﬀer the following,
for couples who are looking for a stylish alternative to the traditional church ceremony or registry oﬃce,
because it works so well to have everything under one roof from start to ﬁnish!
We can oﬀer an informal outdoor ceremony under the canopy of our Garden Gazebo set at the heart of the
ﬂoral gardens. the Raikeside Suite seats up to 170 guests and overlooks the stunning landscaped gardens,
and for a smaller ceremony for up to 70 guests, choose the Ribble Suite in the hotel. the mytton fold hire
charge for a Civil Ceremony is £250.
the couple wishing to marry must contact the Superintendent Registrar themselves after making the
reservation at the hotel, to book the Registrar to perform the ceremony at the hotel. the hotel cannot be
responsible for any of the oﬃcial arrangements with the Registrar for your Civil Ceremony or Partnership.
