As a continuation of the ongoing series of workshops, University of Peradeniya and
Postgraduate Institute of Science in collaboration with the Sivananthan Laboratories, Inc, USA is
planning to organize a two day workshop on 27th and 28th February 2015. The fourth coming
workshop on “Thin Film Solar Cells and their Science and Technology” is the 4th leg of the
ongoing series of workshops in photovoltaics. We believe that this would offer a great
opportunity for the individuals who are willing to competent with the state-of-the-art
alternative energy research and technology.
Scientists and Engineers from the universities/research institutes/other state and private sector
organizations, preferably with a Ph.D./M.Phil or equivalent postgraduate or professional
qualifications, and also graduates in Engineering and Science who have an interest in
participating in this activity and hoping to be active players of a vibrant photovoltaic R&D
community
