From Marina Garbutt:
Playathons
From Marina Garbutt
Playathons 2014
The first two DMTA playathons of 2014/15 were
a great success. Funds raised for the scholarship
fund came to more than $2300 for the two
playathons held on October 25 at Northgate Mall
and December 6-7 at Brightleaf Square. The
amount raised in 2014 increased by more than
20%, compared to 2013.
Twenty five teachers participated in these two
events, and the constant music provided by
talented students was a great joy to passersby and
audience alike. Thank you very much to the
teachers who took part and helped to raise funds
for a worthy cause. A special thank you to
Debbie Menard for her assistance at the
playathons.
Upcoming Playathon 2015
Saturday April 11, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at
Northgate Mall, Durham. Teachers wishing to
sign up for this event, please contact Marina at
[email protected] (“zero” after marina)
or call (919) 943 7492.

Mr. Turner, ask questions etc. for an additional 30 minutes.
