New Covenant Fellowship in Carthage is excited to host Magnetic, a Teen Girl’s Conference
on Saturday, March 7th 2015.
Magnetic will focus on becoming the girl God intended.
We invite you to join us as we welcome Lynn Cowell from Proverbs 31 Ministries. Lynn
Cowell is a national speaker and author from Proverbs 31 Ministries, whose passion is helping
moms become wise women who raise wiser daughters. In addition to speaking at women’s
events, her teen conferences bring life-change to hundreds of girls each year all across the
country. Lynn has a unique way of relating her messages to preteens, teens, young adult and
ladies of all ages. For that reason, we encourage moms and mentors to make this an outing
with your daughter or the girl in your life. Lynn will be presenting two new sessions titled
Redefining Beautiful and Are you Brave Enough?
We are also excited to announce that we will have National Recording Artist and Singer,
Lauren Daigle with us to lead Worship during the conference and an evening acoustic concert.
You have probably heard Lauren’s new hit song “How can it be” playing on your local Christian
Radio station. In a short time, Lauren Daigle has made an impressive mark on the Christian
music scene. She appeared on Jason Gray’s Christmas tour and opened for Aaron Shust on
the Morning Rises trek. She sang with Hillsong at a mega church in Birmingham, an
experience she’ll always treasure. She has a heart for victims of human trafficking, a cause
she has given her time and energy to since her college days.”
CONFERENCE TOPICS:
Redefining Beautiful:
Every girl should break out of the cultural definition of beautiful, break into God’s definition of
beauty so she can reach her fullest potential. Using cultural examples, I bring to the forefront
the battle we are facing every day with the world's definition of beautiful. Using visual examples
culture pushes in our faces, I challenge young women, using Acts 3, to make a move in
regards to where they are going to decide if they are beautiful.

Are You Brave Enough?
Building on Redefining Beautiful, this talk challenges girls to push past guys and girl drama to
get to God’s best for her. To bravely make the switch from looking for the guy to becoming the
girl. Using the examples from the book of Daniel, girls will be encouraged and empowered to
become the girl God created her to become. A gutsy, God girl who displays and honors God.
The conference will start at 1:00 and end at 5:00. We will have a supper break from 5:00 until
6:30 with the concert starting at 6:45. We will have a list of several places you can go in the
surrounding communities for supper or you can preorder pepperoni pizzas at $6 per pizza in
advance when ordering your tickets.
