Early Signees... § Kalani Brown, a 6-5 left-handed post player and the nation’s top-ranked post, from Salmen High School in Slidell, La., has played for three state championships at Salmen HS, winning back-to-back state crowns the last two seasons. Last year she averaged 21.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 5.0 blocks and 2.0 steals in addition to earning numerous awards. Brown was awarded District MVP, All-Metro Player of the Year, the Sugar Bowl MVP, the Class 4 Player of the Year and the 2014 Class 4A State Championship tournament MVP. She was also crowned Louisiana Miss Basketball, Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year and Louisiana Hall of Fame Athlete of the Year. Brown won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship in Mexico. § Alyssa Dry, a 5-9 combo guard from Fort Worth, Texas, attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. Mompremier received numerous personal accolades including: Florida Gatorade Player of the Year, USA Today Florida Player of the Year, Class 8A firstteam all-state, South Florida Player of the Year and Dade County Player of the Year.
