As part of an ambitious 5 years strategic growth plan we are looking for a Lifting Equipment Technician
to join our new Lifting Equipment & Tooling Rental department/team. As we move into this significant
period of growth, a new department has been established to offer wider support to our global operations.
As a Lifting Equipment Technician you will be based at our Aberdeen Head Quarters; the main purpose
of this role is to complete final assembly and testing of all lifting, rigging and associated consumables via
the workshop routing procedure.

Carry out general Workshop duties as instructed by Workshop Manager.
Repair and maintain lifting equipment in accordance with company and statutory regulations
Take part in Tool Box talks to advance operational efficiency and safety improvement
Assist others in despatch of lifting equipment (Test, QC)

It is mandatory that the incumbent is familiar with, and follows the Company's Health, Safety,
Environment and Quality Management System and takes an active part in the compliance and
improvement of the Management Systems
The incumbent must report any accidents, incidents, near misses, actual or potential problems
with products, services or systems according to the Management System processes/procedures
The incumbent also has legal responsibilities under country-specific health and safety legislation
to follow all Company policies, procedures, guidelines, control measures, signage and permit
conditions and to know what to do in an emergency.

The incumbent is also responsible for the health and safety arrangements of subordinates (if any)
and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises
Essential:
• Basic understanding of the Oil & Gas industry
• Ability to understand and follow safety and technical information in English
• Computer-literate
• Team player
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Understanding of Lifting & Rigging
• Experience in a similar role
Desirable:
• Rigging & Lifting qualifications
