As part of my requirements for seminary, I am focusing this year on Christian Education, at all levels. As part of this expectation and my pastoral formation, I will be holding a two session adult education opportunity in February. In honor of Black History Month, I will be leading a study of African American Spirituals. These two very interactive sessions will give us the chance to learn a bit about some of our favorite songs, their history, and sing a bit together too. You may even learn about some not so well known spirituals and a tidbit or two about who wrote them and why. We will gather after Thursday evening worship on February 19th and 26th. On these two Thursday evenings in February we will be gathering in the worship center, listen to some great songs and even sing a bit together. Please join me! Beth Walch Volunteers Urgently Needed Due to an increase in the number of individuals who are in need of home delivered meals, volunteers are needed to deliver noontime meals to homebound elderly in the Mequon & Thiensville areas.
