Both bars have a total of six eighth notes, but the grouping of the notes
decides the meter. The notes in triple time are arranged in three groups of
two, while the notes in duple time are arranged in two groups of three.
Remember that compound times have groupings of three for every beat.
Study the grouping of the notes then write in the time signatures and counts.
