To help me keep the flight sizes balanced, please give me your second choice, if you have one. I will give priority to your first choice, but if you have a close second, please indicate. If two or more teams are tied after Day 3, playoff will be on MV #18 (par 4), using alternate shot format and, if still tied, a chip-­‐off, following the Friday afternoon Shoot-­‐Out format Otherwise, for both daily and 3-­‐day combined payouts within each flight, ties will be broken by scorecard playoff, in accordance with USGA guidelines. April 1st handicaps will be used to flight teams. April 1st or most current handicap for out-­‐of-­‐state guests will be used for competition. Picking a Partner: With three stipulations, he can be anyone from within or outside SaddleBrooke, provided that he is not a regular full time MPMGA member. Stipulations: (1) You both have to agree on playing from the same tees during the competition (see entry form), (2) Your course handicap difference should be within 8 strokes; if greater than 9 strokes, the course handicap of the higher handicap player will be adjusted down to a maximum difference of 9 strokes , (3) Your partner needs to have an established handicap, or can provide at least five 18-­‐hole scores (with rating /slope or tees played) over the previous 12 months to Mike Harris, Handicap Chair, who will then use USGA handicap calculations to determine a handicap index for this competition. If your guest played in the 2014 Member-­‐Guest, those scores may be used. What do you get for your $500 Team Entry Fee? (1) SBR greens fees, practice range and golf cart are complimentary from Robson Resort Communities; all guest greens fees all three days are covered by the entry fee; if the member is a non-­‐annual, usual greens fees apply for play at TP & MV. (2) Tee Prize: $100 credit per player to use at Footjoy store set-­‐up in SBR tent Thursday PM to purchase a variety of well-­‐priced golf merchandise. (3) Kick-­‐off BBQ party Wed PM April 15 with team chipping & putting skills contest for additional prizes; (4) Luncheons: Thursday (SBR); Friday (TP) and Saturday (Awards Luncheon at MV Ballroom] (5) Separate Shoot-­‐Out competition Friday afternoon with separate cash payout; (6) Hole-­‐in-­‐One competition for a new Lexus and golf cart; (7) Separate KP payouts each day; (8) ALL CASH PAYOUTS each day and for 3-­‐day combined, averaging over $120 per team.
