We do our very best to rehabilitate these dogs with medical care, training and tons of love. They are treasures and we don’t allow our dogs to be adopted so that they can be given as gifts or surprises, as we need to be sure they have a great fit for a new family. If you adopt a Moonracer dog, we will always take the dog back into the rescue should something happen that prevents you from keeping the dog, but, first, we want to be sure that every option is explored in order for you to keep the dog. Dogs who are moved around a lot have more problems with adjustments and do not feel secure – our goal is always a real, forever home. We have training contacts and will do everything we can to help to keep your dog with you. We feel strongly that training your dog is important and that knowledge is power. Please read and research all you can about the breed of dog you are adopting/fostering. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and if we don’t know, we’ll find out the answer. We believe that dogs are wonderful and deserve every chance to have a happy, fulfilling life! Our dogs aren’t numbers, they are our passion and we truly love them. We are not looking to have large adoption numbers as much as we are working to successfully rehab and rehome these precious pups. Thank you very much for your interest in our wonderful dogs!
