Fr Dan * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Introducing Fr Ladu James Yanga I was born in Juba, the Capital City of South Sudan. I have 9 siblings, 2 sisters and 7 brothers. I am the fourth child and the second born son. In 1983, when I was 12, a civil war broke out in my homeland, Sudan. In 1988, I came to know the word “refugee” when I became one. I spent almost 15 years in the refugee camps which were all about survival. I never thought I would see the rest of my family again, since we were scattered by the civil war. There is a proverb, which says “Mountains will never meet, but human beings will meet”. I was able to be reunited with my family again, thank God for that. In 2001, I was given Permanent Residency in Australia, a land about which I have never dreamed in my life but which has now become my home. (Just remember Happiness or Sorrow Never comes alone) This is Life. Born on: 24/06/1975 Ordained Priest: on 29/06/2013 Please pray for my mother who was hit by a car on Monday afternoon 12/1/2015. She is in the hospital. May God Bless you all, Fr.
