Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times® • Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times is a cost-free, medically supervised sleep-away camp for children with cancer and their families. • In 2008, nearly 1,800 children and their families (from throughout Southern California) attended Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times • Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times is staffed with hundreds of volunteer doctors, nurses and counselors. • Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times offers a full range of recreational activities including swimming, fishing, arts and crafts, theater, music, backpacking, as well as leadership development programs. • Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times is a sister organization to the Ronald McDonald Houses in Los Angeles, Orange County, Pasadena and Loma Linda. • Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times is a year-round camping program, offering 14 sessions, some in Spanish. • Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times is on 60 forested acres, located near Idyllwild, California. Who is welcome at Camp? • Children with cancer, ages infant – 18. • Brothers and sisters of children with cancer (also ages infant – 18) are welcome, as the diagnosis of cancer affects each family member. • Families who have children under age 9 with cancer may attend Family Camp.
