APPLE
UX Design + Product Strategy ’13
First place award winner for Apple's app store competition. Presented to a board of cross-functional
Apple executives.The prompt was to design a targeted channel-specific outbound marketing
campaign driving outsider traffic to Apple’s app store on a zero-budget limitation.
Lead and developed communication process for cross-collaboration of a multi-functional work team.
Creative ideation, campaign assessment, industry research and stakeholder analysis were key.
Lead cross functional team of 5… placed 1st from over 200 Apple entrants.
Presentation creation + execution to senior Apple leadership and peer employees.
Campaign creation included overall strategy, program management tactics, overall concept and
implementation controls to drive outbound traffic to the App store, to date, there are over
75,000,000,000+ downloads on the app store.

YELP
User Acquisition + Content Strategy ’11
Successfully launched events for Yelp evangelism with a growing list of 50,000 members subscribed to
Yelp’s midwest Co for 2011.
Content strategy for user acquisition, user loyalty, and lead generation.

Researched existing partners’ trending campaigns/offers/etc.

THE GREEN HABIT
Founder + UX Research + Strategy ‘14
The Green Habit is a design-oriented team who's mission is to bridge the gap between sustainability
and people. We had our soft launch in April 2014 and by June 9 have already been recognized as one
of the top 10 sustainability companies in the MN cup, where more than 1,300 long-standing
companies applied. We're proud to have do-good partners such as Whole Foods, KIND, and 2ndTruth
join forces with us to fulfill the mission of sustainability, with regards to creating a "closed loop world."
The Green Habiteer network reaches from coast to coast as we have supporters from CA, NY, IN, MN,
TX, OR, and even a few from the UK and Australia.
TheGreenHabit is a social enterprise incubator.
We house and support projects who's mission align with making sustainability into the norm.
So far, the projects we've launched include a zero-waste grocery store model, sustainable packaging,
a book, and a mobile app to monetize on food waste. ----- We select projects that are design focused
and have the core principles of social impact.

HACKING UX
UX Research + Strategy +Production ’14
Hacking UX is an online web app that serves as bridge for engineers and anyone who wishes to get
their feet wet in starting to learn the foundation of User Experience Design. UX Design is a relatively
new area, seeing as it's recognition just started taking hold with the tech industry, booming.
In private-beta, HackingUX has already received a $0.25Mil valuation in under 2 months by the founder
of WallStreet.org, Hanson So.
Holly learns, explores, and paves the way for the "UXer" following that she has built as HackingUX
features award-winning designers from all over, starting with those starting in Silicon Valley. HackingUX
is an online community, resource oasis, and learning platform for the UXer following.
HackingUX following started out with 150 beta software engineers from Stanford, MIT, Purdue, NYU,
Yale, Cambridge, (etc.) and continues to grow. The official HackingUX(dot)org website will be launched
mid 2015.

User Engagement + Strategy ’09
Featured college author. Back during my freshman year of undergrad…. the ancient 2008/2009 was
when I first was introduced to content creation and brand evangelism. In an applicant pool of over
2,000 I was fortunate to help with the college authorship for the entirety of my freshman year. We had
to create a web and print schedule to keep regular interactions with Seventeen’s ~2,200,000
subscribing fan base. Bi-weekly content from interviews, image capture, and some minor videos were
to be submitted to our manager, Elise, from Hearst Corporation. In total, there were 15 women in my
authorship “class,” and we were the first of a now, 5 year, media program specific to the college
market.

BEST BUY CORPORATE
Experiential Engagement + Strategy ‘11
Raised $2.8 Million for Best Buy’s annual gala on a team of 10 in under 4 months. Helped lead plans
for initial strategy, program management, partnership as well as overall execution, hosting, and
engagement. Worked with high-profile artists such as Lenny Kravitz and Gavin Degraw as they were
the main performers for the event; Donated items for the silent auction included pieces from artists
such as Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift. Successfully helped launch and coordinate event for Lord of the
Rings release. Strategic partnership Warner Brother Studios. Managed sponsorship proposals and
rejections to an average of 300+ requests per month.

About The JADE branding: The symbolism behind my personal brand
captures significance of Creativity, Purpose, and Freedom. The
polygonal bird is hand-crafted on Adobe Illustrator. It’s purpose is to
signify flight and launch of my project work. Moreover, the polygonal
form symbolizes the sharp character I value as an individual. Purple
symbolizes loyalty, dedication, and taking on work of true value. The
letters, JADE serve as a ground foundation to the polygonal bird
because I’ve learned that at the core of any idea and project, it’s my
responsibility, hence my name, to be a foundation for direction, launch,
and overall success. I chose the word JADE as it is both my name and a
stone to represent nobility.!
