ICE FEST 2015, “HAMILTON GOES HOLLYWOOD ” It is time again for Ice Fest - Hamilton, Ohio, City of Sculpture’s favorite community event. This unique community event takes place this year on Friday, January 16 and Saturday, January 17. The event is a free and fun family-oriented winter celebration that attracts visitors young and old while also highlighting the many sculptures located in the city. This year’s theme “Hamilton Goes Hollywood” will allow visitors to view ice sculptures under the lights on Friday evening around the Historic Butler County Courthouse and throughout Downtown Hamilton. Hundreds of ice sculptures and 40 tons of ice will be on display. If you can’t make it on Friday evening, plan on walking Downtown Hamilton on Saturday the 17th and see the beautiful ice sculptures with a Hollywood theme as they glisten in the sun. Thousands of visitors will enjoy the Technicolor Ice Walk on Friday, the competition carving on Saturday, and even the human dog sled races on courthouse square.
