Temporary Data Registry Clerk (Ref. TURDRC48) for British Consulate General Istanbul, Turkey The British Consulate General in Istanbul is part of a world-wide network, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas and is looking for a Temporary Data Registry Clerk for the UK Visas and Immigration department. The main purpose of the job is to play a multifunctional role in a demanding environment and support the UK Visas and Immigration department in various tasks as required. Main Duties / Responsibilities The main duty of the registry clerk is to check, scan and input data onto the system. The role requires the successful candidate to input a pre-determined number of data within a certain time into a computer system database. The successful candidate will be subject to professional background check, security clearance and 2 months probation period. As this is a temporary position annual leave entitlements may only be used at the end of the contract. The annual salary for this position is 38,464 TL gross, A1 level. Please note that staff members are responsible for paying any income tax required by local law.
