Golf News Tips from the Pro Think Conservative but Swing “Cocky” Often times golfers will find themselves faced with a certain tee shot that is very demanding, and the tendency is to try and steer the ball into the fairway, which very seldom works. In this case it is best to pick a club that you are very confident with and swing the heck out of it instead of trying to guide the ball. Sometimes it may even require you to hit an iron or a hybrid off the tee, but no matter which club you choose, you must swing ‘cocky’ with that club, as this will enable you to find the fairway more times than not. Also this will take some of the trouble out of play just in case you don’t strike it perfectly. Email me at [email protected] for suggestions for next month’s tip or to set up a lesson.
