A 5k Run/Walk for Fredericksburg Community Theatre March 14, 2015 8:00am Spotsylvania Courthouse Village This race was formerly Feet for Seats PURPOSE: Proceeds will go toward Stage Door Productions and its programs in the Fredericksburg area. Stage Door Productions is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charity. COURSE DETAILS: 1 loop course with the start/finish at the Spotsylvania Courthouse Village Pavilion taking you through historic downtown Spotsylvania and through the Confederate Cemetery. Please see the Race Timing Unlimited website for a course map. Course will be a measured 5k course and Winning Chip provided by Race Timing Unlimited. AWARDS: We have top 3 finishers in the following age groups for both male and female: Overall – CASHPRIZES! Trophies for top 3 in AGE GROUPS: 8-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ WATER and REFRESHMENTS: We will have water stations for the racers and refreshments after the race. T SHIRTS: All runners registered prior to March 1 are guaranteed a t-shirt. All others are not guaranteed a shirt. Please arrive 45 minutes before the race to check-in. Check-in will be in building #120, adjacent to the pavilion. Unclaimed packets will not be mailed to entrants. Kids 1 Mile Fun Run: We are offering a Kids 1 Mile Fun Run at 9:00am for all kids up to grade 5. Parents may run alongside for free! The cost of the Fun Run is $15 until March 9 and $20 on the day of the event. Also, join us for our St. Patrick’s Day Family Festival at the Spotsylvania Courthouse Village until 11:00am with local businesses, performing groups, and family-friendly activities to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! SCHOOL SPIRIT AWARDS! Show your St. Patrick Day Spirit and your school group could win prizes! The school group with the most participants will win $150 for their school group.
