International Tournament in JU-JITSU, February 14th and 15th

Dear sport friends!
Please find enclosed invitation to Maribor Open International Tournament 11th
ROBI RAJH - 2015 in Maribor, Slovenia, fighting and DUO system for children’s, aspirants
and juniors. We invite you to one of the last competition of younger age categories before
the World Championship.
I. ORGANIZATION
Ju-jitsu club ADK Maribor in cooperation with Ju-jitsu Federation of Slovenia.
II. PLACE AND DATE OF COMPETITION
Respecting JJEU and Slovenian annual calendar of activities competition will be held in
SPORTS HALL LUKNA, Mladinska ulica 26, 2000 MARIBOR, Slovenia on February 14th
and 15th 2015.

17.00 – 18.00 weighing for Sunday (only registered participants) – sports hall

V. COMPETITION RULES
JJIF Competition Rules will be respected.

The youngest (8 years, 2 categories) only 2nd and 3rd part, without locks and
strangulations, not full Ippon, the Osae-Komi 10 seconds Ippon (6-9 s waza-ari),1.5
minute fight.

9 to 11 years, all three parts, no punches to the head, without locks and
strangulations, to full Ippon, the Osae-Komi 10 seconds Ippon (6-9 s waza-ari), 2
minute fight.

12 to 14 years, all three parts, no punches to the head without locks and
strangulations, to full Ippon, the Osae-Komi Ippon 15 seconds (10-14 s waza-ari), 2
minute fight.
VI. RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE
Competitors registered (check-in deadline) up to February 7th! Please note that already
registered participants not passing weigh-in may not participate in different category. Draw is
final.
VII. TROPHIES, MEDALS
-
gold, silver and bronze medals in each category;
special bonus for best fighter in tournament (female and male);
Fair Play trophy provided by JJEU.
VIII. REFEREES
Slovenian and guest referees with valid license. Head Referee of the tournament is Mr.
Martin Jazbec, World A (Slovenia):
Each team is kindly requested to bring at least one referee. Organizing Committee will
provide accommodation for one (up to 10 competitors) or two (more than 10 competitors)
referee(s) by team (sleeping February 13th, breakfast and sleeping February 14th and
breakfast February 15th)
Please send pre-registration information about number of participating referees up to
February 7th!
During competition all referees will have free meals provided in Sports Hall.

XII. FIGHTING TRAINING CAMP
Ju-jitsu Federation of Slovenia in cooperation with Ju-jitsu club ADK Maribor will organize
training camp after the competition. Within short preparation fighting training will be
organized. The first training will be held on Sunday afternoon, immediately after the
competition, the second training will be held on Monday morning.
Participation in training is free of charge. Deadline to sign up for a seminar is to February 7th.
Focus groups are aspirants, juniors and seniors. Training will be lead by Slovenian head
coach Mr. Gorazd Toplak in cooperation with other national coaches.
Participants provide for their own accommodation and food, with the help of the organizer.
XII. LIABILITY
The organizing club, JJFS and Organizing Committee will not accept any liability whatsoever.
Competitors must be in good health and shape (with proper insurance).
