run restaurant in the heart
of Canford Cliffs with a great
local reputation. Expect a
good seasonal menu that
makes the most of local
Dorset produce.
The Colonial style building adds

Salterns Harbourside Hotel
With superb views of Poole Harbour, this family friendly
Mediterranean style restaurant is really popular. Offering
a great choice from light snacks to bistro classics the
menu is competitively priced. Lunchtimes are busy so

GUILDHALL TAVERN
CRANBERRIES NO. 4
The new owners are breathing
life into this stylish bar and
restaurant with an evening
menu of British classics with
a twist including mackerel with
wasabi crushed potatoes and
beetroot. The courtyard at the
back is a lovely spot for lunch
on a summer day.
KARMA
Since opening last year, this
Mediterranean Grill and Bistro
is fast becoming a local
favourite. The spinach & feta filo
parcels, falafel and moussaka
are superb. With an intimate
Moroccan inspired interior, this
friendly family run restaurant is a
welcome addition to Poole.

This high quality brand offers a great menu
full of seasonal choices and local produce.
The terrace is a lovely spot to hide away
from the hustle and bustle of the Quay in
the summer. Look out for the special events,
wine tastings and local produce events,
which are really making their mark.

the beautiful Poole Park lake. With free parking for
one hour in the adjacent car park, why not try
the express lunch options of mussels, omelette or
homemade soup. In the evenings upstairs tables
have great views of the lake and Summer Breeze
on the Quay fireworks in July.

upstairs restaurant menu can also

team keep their finger
on the pulse and have
a great new menu, the
steak comes highly

fresh homemade quiches,
salads and sandwiches
plus the chance to stock
up on a fabulous selection
of olives, cheese and wine.
For an added treat you
can also order a picnic,
perfect for taking with you
on a boat trip to Brownsea

friends, where small booths and an open kitchen are
part of the relaxed modern vibe. The menu is seasonal,
fresh and sustainable local seafood - great quality
whether it is crab, lobster or fish and chips. Overlooking
the marina, the outside tables are lovely in summer.

and seafood, there’s lots of
choice in this great location.

harbour. In summer the
outside terrace is perfect for

the Quay without having to

Friendly local serving a wide range of fine
real ales, beers and great homemade
fayre. The fish and chips come highly
recommended as well as their daily
specials – the portion sizes are huge and
great value for money. Check out the
popular live music and comedy nights.

This authentic traditional Italian has a loyal
following and is particularly welcoming for
families and groups. The menu is packed
with traditional favourites including great
value lunchtime specials and the excellent
service is a fundamental part of its charm.

LB's bistro
Primely positioned on the
cliff top between Poole and
Bournemouth. Spectacular
food with an incredible view.
Parking is difficult particularly
in the summer so book a taxi
to make the most of it.
By the team from Les Bouviers,
this new café bistro is a more
relaxed affair, but with the same
high quality. Choose from paninis,
salads and omelettes or try the
afternoon tapas served 3 - 5pm.
Weekends are busy at this
bar and restaurant. Lovely
for a relaxed breakfast or
lunch and perfect for large

With only 14 covers, this small but perfectly formed
restaurant is the only Michelin star restaurant in
Dorset. Relaxed and unpretentious it is all about
the food – a real star. Booking is essential.
