Special Conditions:
a) ALL CANTERBURY RIDERS MUST provide assistance details (eg fence judges, writers, working bees) in
special requests box for online entries or on the correct entry form. Condition of entry.
b) Late entries will incur $20 late fee from the date of closing, and will not be entitled to refunds.
c) Entries preferred online at www.equestrianentries.co.nz or must be on rider’s official ESNZ form if registered or
Eventing Canterbury entry form with casual equine registration fee included. Manual entries will incur $10
processing fee. Contact Event Secretary for information.
d) Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6: Riders need to be full ESNZ members. First year of Full Membership is FREE for new
members.
e) Classes 4, 5 & 6: Horses not registered with ESNZ may enter under ESNZ Casual Equine Registration.
f) For Classes 1, 2 & 3 details of qualifying competitions must be included with entries. Qualification details are
required for each Rider and Horse. Please refer to the MER Table on the ESNZ website
www.nzequestrian.org.nz under Eventing/Competition/Rules/Minimum Eligibility Requirements. If in doubt,
contact ESNZ Eventing Sport Manager first, and then the Event Secretary.
g) Please supply a current email address for draw, yarding and event information. Event entry status, draw, yarding
and live results also available at www.equestrianentries.co.nz.
h) Payment of all entry fees must be received with entry. Failure to do so will result in no entry. Payments
received after entries closing date will incur $20 late fee. This will be strictly enforced.
a) Payments can be made by Direct Credit to 03 0855 0371245 00 - use your name, the event name and date for
identification. Cheques to be made out to "Eventing Canterbury". $10 processing fee will apply for all cheque
payments - this is to be included in cheque amount.
i) This event is run under ESNZ General Regulations and Rules for Eventing.
j) Scratchings as per Art 646. Requests for a refund to be made in writing within 7 days of the event.
k) No dogs allowed as venue is a working farm.
l) Medical Arm Bands compulsory for all jumping tests for all riders and must be completed. These are available for
purchase ($18) at the Event Secretary’s office.
m) Prize money will be awarded at a ratio of 1 in 5 starters, as per Art 619. Rosettes 1st to 6th for all classes.
n) Prizes for Classes 4, 5 & 6 are subject to Eventing Canterbury acquiring sponsorship.
o) Back number holders are required for all levels and can be pre-ordered from the Event Secretary ($25.00).
