Therefore we will accept, in our opinion, genuine 90 horses only. Certainly no one with prizes in Ev.100 & above, in the past 12 months will be allowed. If higher grade horses would like to go around afterwards, they may at the cost of R150.00 Rosettes & R 900.00 60% of net entry fee (less levies) 28th & 29th March 2015 PROPOSED TIMETABLE Friday: 12h00 Cross Country Course open for inspection for all Classes - On foot Saturday: 08h00 Dressage for All Classes 1 - 9 09h00 Show Jumping - Classes 1 - 3 13h00 Competitors Briefing at the Show Jumping Grand Stand Sunday: 08h00 Cross Country for All Classes 1 - 9 12h30 Show Jumping for Classes 4 - 9 Followed by Prize Giving GENERAL RULES AND CONDITIONS 1 Classes 1 - 9 will be run under SAEF and ESA Eventing Rules 1st June 2010 2 All tack will be checked before the commencement of each test as per Eventing Rules 45.4.2 & 45.7.3, protective headgear, medical cards and body protectors are obligatory for the Cross Country test. Surcingles are strongly recommended. 3 Competitors shall wear the correct dress at all times. 4 Protests lodged must adhere to Appendix GR/B of the SAEA General Regulations and Section 43 of the Eventing Rules. 5 The Organising Committee reserves the right to restrict class entries strictly on a first come first served basis. 6 All entries will only be processed when proof of payment is received - email or fax, which should clearly state Rider’s Name & Invoice number as reference. NO PAYMENT NO ENTRY. 7 Any requests for a specific riding order MUST be clearly indicated on the entry form. It is the responsibility of the competitor to make sure their entries have been received. 8 The dressage tests used are from the 2010/2011 Eventing Dressage Tests available on the ESA website www.eventingsa.co.za. 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 The Show Holding Body reserves the right to alter or vary the programme in light of prevailing conditions at their discretion, with the approval of the Technical Delegate. The Organising Committee, ESA, SAEF, Inanda Club and Sponsors cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, death or injury to people, horses or property whatsoever. All compeitors and spectators enter the premises entirely at their own risk. Ponies/horses may compete from the 1 August of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 4 years for Eventing 0.80m and below and 5 years for Eventng 0.90m and Eventing 1m classes The Cross Country courses will be open for inspection on foot from 12h00 Friday 27th March. This is regarded as the official starting time of the event so all eventing rules (including restrictions with regard to dress and saddlery) will be enforced. At the event venue and after the official opening of the courses for inspection, and the duration of the event, it is forbidden under penalty of disqualification for anyone other than the competitor who will ride the horse in the competition, to school a horse. As from 16th March no competitor/competing horse may ride in the vicinity of the cross country obstacles, until called upon to do so under penalty of elimination. Numbers are to be collected before the Dressage Test and are to be worn for all 3 Tests. Bridle numbers are permitted for Dressage, but still please collect your numbers at this stage Competitors please note that Medical cards are compulsory and must be clearly visible on the rider, preferably on the arm. The new id bracelettes are now permitted. Sponsors, owners, riders, horses and ponies must be registered with SAEF and ESA for the 2015 subscription year as at the closing date of entry. Entries out of order at closing date will be forfeited. 17 Parking in designated areas only. 18 A complete list of SAEF General & Veterinary Regulations, Eventing Rules and Eventing Dressage Tests can be found on the ESA web site www.eventingsa.co.za 19 All stallions must have a yellow disc on both sides of the bridle or have a yellow ribbon in the tail. 20 EQUINE FLU VACS MUST BE ADMINISTERED WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF THE DATE OF THE EVENT. AHS VACCINATIONS MUST BE UP TO DATE. 21 Dogs are really NOT needed at the show. Even competitors are complaining. Should you really have to bring, they MUST be on leads at all times, and under control. 22 PORTABLE AND TAPED PADDOCKS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED
