At the fourth light, turn left onto Washington Place (which becomes Waterman Street at the next light). You are now entering the RISD campus; use the detail map to locate the appropriate building. FROM I-‐195 WEST take Exit 2 to South Main Street. Go straight through the light at the end of the off-‐ramp, and after two blocks the CE office will be on your left (345 South Main Street). You are now entering the RISD campus; use the detail map to locate the appropriate building. PARKING DAYTIME CLASSES Bring your course registration statement with you each time you attend class in order to receive the discounted rate available at some Metropark lots. You will need to check with the attendant for the exact rate and to find out if a discounted rate for RISD|CE students is available. RISD Staff parking lots during the workday (M-‐F) are for RISD employees only and CE students are not allowed to park in them. EVENING CLASSES You may use RISD parking lots after 6:00pm weeknights and on weekends, except in spots designated as reserved for specific purposes, including “RISD Authorized Vehicles Only.” Your car will be towed if you park in any of these reserved spots, or if you block in other parked cars. Turn right onto Broadway and then bear right onto Empire Street. Proceed on Empire Street for 3 blocks until the intersection of Weybosset Street. Turn left onto Weybosset Street. The CIT Building is 3 blocks down on your left, directly across from Johnson & Wales University. FROM THE NORTH Take I-‐95 South to Exit 21 in Providence. At the end of the exit, take a left onto Atwells Avenue and then turn left onto Broadway. Broadway then bears right to become Empire Street. Proceed on Empire Street for 3 blocks until the intersection of Weybosset Street. Turn left onto Weybosset Street. The CIT Building is 3 blocks down on your left, directly across from Johnson & Wales University. PARKING FOR CIT Free parking is available during evening classes only. You may use the Metropark Lot** on Pine Street between Eddy and Garnet Streets. You are allowed to enter after 6:00pm. You will be asked to show your course registration statement upon entering the lot. **METROPARK LOT From Empire Street, turn left onto Weybosset Street until the intersection of Dorrance Street. Turn right onto Dorrance Street and right again onto Pine Street. At the first traffic light (intersection at Barrington High School and white church), take a right onto Federal Street. Continue to the end of the street and turn left onto Middle Highway. At the end of Middle Highway, turn left onto Nayatt Road. The entrance to Tillinghast Farm is the first driveway on the right, past the golf course. FROM I-‐195 WEST Take Exit 1 (Seekonk/Barrington) to Route 114A South. Turn left at the end of the exit onto Route 114A South (Fall River Avenue). Bear left at the third traffic light. At the next traffic light, turn right onto Mink Street. Continue to the end of the street and pass two traffic lights. Turn left onto Route 114 South.
