More on Heritage Construction, following on from last week: there are Young Heritage
Apprenticeships available from the Prince’s Foundation. They last for a year from July
2015. See www.princes-foundation.org .

There are up-to-date packs of information available on careers in 1. Health and Social
SFC
Care and 2. The Food Industry. These are especially for those who wish to stay and work MP
in Lincolnshire, being two of six major industries in the county. The packs are in the files
on the shelves below the prospectuses, upstairs in the SFC.

Two possibilities for a gap year: one is a secondary school exchange scholarship to the
USA run by the English Schools Union; the other offers the chance to volunteer abroad
for a teaching and community project with a conservation slant, this being run by an

The deadline for applications for the ESU one is February 25th.

Also, The Apprenticeship Guide 2015 has now arrived in school. Copy in the file on the
shelves in the SFC; another copy in the Library.

The PreMed and PreLaw course information has also arrived. The events take place in
London on 11 April and are run by practising doctors and lawyers. See
