We are looking forward to a great year of learning and development. Welcome Miss Brown This term we welcome Miss Belinda Brown to our school in the role of Learning & Support Teacher. She will work both with individual students and groups, delivering targeted learning support and general learning in some curriculum areas. Miss Brown is currently studying a Master’s Degree in Special Education. 2015 Class Structure To reflect changes in our student cohort, all students will engage in the educational program of their stage within the same class. On Mondays and Tuesdays, Mr Pryce will teach the students with the support of Mrs Hollitt in her role as Student Swim School Wed 28 Jan – Wed 4 Feb Life Education Tue 10 Feb Tenterfield Show Excursion Fri 6 Feb Swimming Carnival Wed 11 Feb Learning Support Officer. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, Miss Brown will work both in the classroom with Mr Pryce and individually with selected students. On Fridays, Miss Brown will teach all students, allowing Mr Pryce the day for school administration and development. School Community Welcome Dinner All members of the community are invited to attend a ‘bring-adish’ dinner to be held later this term. The purpose of this evening will be to welcome new members of our school community and reinforce school-community ties. More information will be provided closer to the date. Our fortnightly newsletter contains critical information for parents and news about upcoming events and student achievements. School Plan During Term 1, the school plan will be made available to parents and the community for feedback. Following this, the plan will be published on the school website. Swimming Carnival Parents are invited to support our swimmers in the Small Schools Swimming Carnival on Wednesday 11 February. We hope to see you there.
