Obtaining Your Academic Regalia
The Penn Bookstore is pleased to serve as the
University’s official academic regalia provider
for all graduates and participating faculty,
marshals and trustees.
Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree Candidates
• Degree candidates may purchase and
receive their Commencement regalia at
the Penn Bookstore March 18, 19 & 20,
2015. The regalia will be yours to own as a
commemorative keepsake.
Grad Fair Information
March 18, 19 & 20, 2015
The Penn Bookstore’s annual Grad Fair
provides the opportunity for degree candidates
to acquire their academic regalia as well as
graduation announcements, class rings, and
diploma frames. Representatives will be on
hand at Grad Fair to answer any questions
you may have. Bachelor’s and Master’s
degree candidates will be able to purchase
and pick up their Commencement regalia
during the fair. Doctoral students have the
option of renting their regalia or purchasing
either a full set or individual components of
their commencement regalia. Orders will be
processed during Grad Fair.
• Regalia will be distributed on the second level
of the Penn Bookstore near the textbook
department. You will have the opportunity
to try on your regalia and speak with staff
members regarding any questions.
• Purchase Price (GreenWeaver Cap, Gown,
Hood & Tassel):
Bachelor’s $75 plus tax
Master’s $79 plus tax
Doctoral, JD, LLM Candidates
Representatives will be available to measure
degree candidates for their regalia and discuss
the various purchase/rental options during
the Grad Fair March 18, 19 & 20, 2015.
Custom hoods, caps and gowns are available
to order and make lasting souvenirs from
your Commencement Day. Measurements for
Graduate students will be on the second level
of the Penn Bookstore. If you cannot make it
to the Bookstore during Grad Fair, please
contact the bookstore at 215-898-7595
before March 20, 2015 to place an order.
• Rental regalia will be distributed at the Penn
Bookstore, May 13 through May 17, 2015.
• Custom regalia is available for purchase as an
alternative to renting. To see material samples,
discuss purchase options and to ensure
delivery prior to Commencement, please
come to the Bookstore during Grad Fair.
• Rental regalia must be returned to the
Bookstore by noon on Tuesday, May 19,
2015.
• Rental Fee (Cap, Gown, Tassel & Hood):
Doctoral $72 plus tax*
* JD Package with Tam $120 plus tax
