After 40 years of use, this all-weather exterior instrument is in need of some maintenance and renovation. Rick Watson of Meeks, Watson, and Company has identified rusted bolts, cracked leather attachments, bells that rotate in place, and springs that no longer adjust as priority repairs to be tackled. Secondary needs include replacement umbrellas, adjusting turnbuckles and replacement clappers. The more than 40-foot-long wires need additional tracking so they do not cross during play or heavy winds. These improvements will increase dynamic control, enrich the sound of the bells’ array Double Your Impact We are excited to announce a new matching challenge!
