Charles W. Daniels Scholarship Award

Attention CEAT Members!
CEAT members or immediate family members (spouse, child, and/or grandchild) can apply for
a $1,000 Scholarship Award (per recipient). Up to three (3) scholarships will be awarded.
Eligibility Requirements
 Must be a high school senior or college student with a cumulative GPA of 2.5
 Submit a 1,000 (minimum) to 2,000 (maximum) word essay typed and double-spaced with
a cover sheet including:

Essay Topic
Most cities have a code enforcement/compliance division that enforces the city codes/
ordinances. Define code enforcement and describe how your city would be affected without
code enforcement.
Award Requirements
Scholarships must be used within twelve (12) months of the award date and will be submitted
to the school or institution of your choice.
