Our KidzZone Aftercare is
a supervised after-school
program intended for families who are not

The year started off on a
super high note, with the
school enrolling over 120 new
learners and 37 Grade R
learners. CityKidz has several
spaces left for Grade 1 and
Grade R’s. Pass on the word to
your family and friends and ask
them to contact us today to
secure their child's spot in our
inner city family!
I am very proud of our new
Grade 1’s and Grade R’s .
Our new family members have
settled into their routines
very quickly and are happily
adjusting to life at school.

Great News. Stock has arrived !
Settlers Store has received the
consignment of Golf Shirts. If you
placed your order the shirts are
now in stock.
The skorts (girls shorts) will be
available in a week’s time.
Settlers Store will also have the PT
clothes in stock within the next
two weeks.
We will keep you posted.
Our Grade R’s look very smart and
comfortable in their Golf Shirts.
Talk to the right people!
Please don’t hesitate to
approach your child’s teacher if
you have any concerns. Don’t
hesitate for it to become too
late! A phone call can solve a
small problem before it
becomes a big one. It is
important to talk to teachers
particularly if your child is
struggling academically,
unhappy, possibly being bullied
or showing signs of stress. We
welcome all relevant
information from home that
may be impacting on your child’s
performance or behaviour at
school. If you are not able to
find a solution, you may need to
take the issue up with the HOD
or the Principal. Make that
appointment. It is advisable to
put your concerns in writing via
email or letter. Take up serious
issues with the right people
who can do something about
them.

Our children are practicing for our
Annual Sports Day .This year it
will take place on SAT 31/01 . We
are currently negotiating with
Mr Indiran Govender from the
Johannesburg Cricket Club in
Bertrams. (An introduction
initiated by Mrs Naidoo).
They have kindly
grounds for our Sports Day.
