Pistol Zone Read Objectives
1. Run inside zone in the A gaps.
2. Eliminate a defender in the run game
without blocking him.
3. Simplify schemes for our offensive line.
4. Slow the defense down with constraint
plays including Bluff, Jet, Orbit motions
and Run/Pass concepts.
5. Establish a downhill running attack.
6. Slow down defensive recognition with
a balanced backfield set.

on post practice.
