EXECUTIVE COUNCIL RECRUITMENT DRIVE
The recruitment drive for the various available positions in HYDMUN II for the year of 2015 are now
open, kindly find the suitable roles and responsibilities below.
1. Director Marketing
As a director marketing, following tasks will be allocated to you during your tenure,
a) Exploring corporate donors throughout the tenure through sponsorships, contributions, grants,
donations etc.;
b) Maintaining personal contacts and developing cordial relationship with different marketing
executives and corporate program officers;
c) Drafting corporate sponsorship invitations, including but not limited to proposals, presentations,
and letters;
d) Determining various sponsorship benefits for corporate sponsors;
e) Ensuring corporate meetings with different companies to secure sponsorships;
f) Devising and submitting a proper marketing strategy to Executive Board.
Prerequisites:
a) Preferred to be the Business Administration student;
b) Preferred to have Model UN experience as a delegate;
c) Preferred to have contacts with different companies and a good marketing experience.
Requirements:
a) Easily approachable, devoted and hardworking.
2. Director Social Events
As a director social events, following tasks will be allocated to you during your tenure,
a) Designing 3 social events for HYDMUN II;
b) Maintaining contacts with celebrities for the social events;
c) Promoting and building hype about social events via different medium of mass media;

d) Working closely with director sales for ensuring the proper sale of social events’ tickets;
e) Decorating and exploring the venues, as per the nature of the social events.
Prerequisite:
a) Preferred to have personal contact with different venues and decorators and a good experience
in the field.
Requirements:
a) Easily approachable, devoted, and hardworking.
3. Director Human Resources and Legal
As a director HR and Legal, following tasks will be allocated to you during your tenure,
a) Observing performance of each and every member of HYDMUN II and reporting on weekly basis
to EXECUTIVE BODY of HYDMUNII;
b) Resolving conflicts and issues with regard to any sort of matter between members of HYDMUNII;
c) Ensuring all activities to be carried out within the terms of constitution;
d) Drafting different types of letters, applications and proposals as per the requirement;
e) Maintaining liaison between members and EB of HYDMUNII right after the recruitment drive;
f) Keeping his/her personal issues with any of the member aside with respect to any decision or
circumstances which might occur.
NOTE: Director HR & Legal shall not have right to cancel the tenure of any of the member, however,
he/she should provide the report to EB for further action.
Prerequisites:
a) Preferred to be the Business Administration student;
b) Preferred to have experience and sufficient knowledge about business writing;
c) Preferred to have sufficient knowledge about taxation and constitution of Pakistan.
Requirements:
a) Easily approachable, devoted, and hardworking.
4. Director Information Technology
As a director IT, following tasks will be allocated to you during your tenure,
a) Managing and updating the website;
b) Managing and updating the android application;

Prerequisites:
a) Preferred to be Software Engineer or Computer Science student;
b) Preferred to have sufficient experience in the field.
Requirements:
a) Easily approachable, devoted and hardworking.
5. Director Publications
As a director publications, following tasks will be allocated to you during your tenure,
a) Publication of HYDMUNII Magazine/Gazette right after the conference;
b) Publication of different articles, research materials with respect to Model United Nations on
HYDMUNII blog.
Prerequisites:
a) Preferred to have good English, and sufficient experience in creative writing and publications.
Requirements:
a) Easily approachable, devoted and hardworking.
6. Director Media
As a director media, following tasks will be allocated to you during your tenure,
a) Gathering media sponsors and partners for HYDMUNII;
b) Serving as social media officer by managing Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress and Instragram
accounts of HYDMUNII.
Prerequisites:
a) Preferred to have sufficient experience and knowledge and about Facebook, Twitter, and
Instagram.
Requirements:
a) Easily approachable, devoted and hardworking.
7. Director Photography
As a director photography, following tasks will be allocated to you during your tenure,
a) Managing photography throughout HYDMUN II including but not limited to meetings, social
events, recruitment drives, and trainings;

b) Managing videography and designing corporate videos for opening ceremony, closing ceremony,
and social events.
Prerequisites:
a) Preferred to have complete photography kit and sufficient experience in the field of
photography and videography.
Requirements:
a) Easily approachable, devoted and hardworking.
8. Director Logistics
As a director logistics, following tasks will be allocated to you during your tenure,
a) Handling the printing of promotional items, as well as other required material of HYDMUN II;
b) Ensuring proper arrangement during the conference;
c) Working closely with chair coordinator and director delegate affairs for the accommodation of
chairs and out stationed delegates;
d) Working closely with director security to prevent any untoward incident during the social
events.
Prerequisite:
a) Preferred to have contacts with different venues, decorators and guest houses and a good
experience in the field.
Requirements:
a) Easily approachable, devoted, and hardworking.
9. Director HYDMUN Training Program
As a director HYDMUN training program, following tasks will be allocated to you during your tenure,
a) Conducting pre event training sessions of HYDMUN training program;
b) Working closely with Director Public Relations for the communication campaigns;
Prerequisites:
a) Preferred to have strong knowledge about Model United Nations;
b) Preferred to have good public relation skills and experience.

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Please follow the following format while applying:



Write the name of the designation you are willing to apply for in the subject for example
“Subject: Director Marketing”
Send your resume along with an application containing the answer to “why do you wish to apply
for the xyz position in HYDMUNII?” which should contain your previous experience, your
motivation, and dedication towards HYDMUNII. Send this email at [email protected]
The Executive Council will be selected through an interview based selection procedure (IBSP’15).
Time and venue for the interview will be conveyed to the shortlisted applicants through email
and SMS.
NOTE:





Last date to apply for Executive Council is 4th February 2015.
Interviews will be held on 5th February.
EC meeting will be held on 6th February.
A very limited number of applicants will be shortlisted for the EC interview, therefore you are all
requested to fill the application properly.
