This Rules & Regulations PDF has the forms that can be filled out electronically and emailed to [email protected] or downloaded and printed for completion and mailing by hand. 2. Determine the appropriate category in which your entry is to be judged. (An ad may only be entered in one size category. Changing the size of the same ad does not constitute eligibility in another category.) 3. Fill out a separate entry form for each contest submission. 4. Attach the entry form to the back of its respective entry, and place in a clear plastic bag of the proper size. For campaigns, place one form per element and mark as 1 of 3, etc. so all elements are judged properly. Any entry 9 x 12 or smaller should be mounted on board and the entry form attached to the back of the board. This will be of help to the judges and make for a nicer exhibit. 5. If not already emailed, enclose the Summary Sheet with payment in a separate envelope marked “Entry Check & Form” along with your entries. 6. We have no minimum/maximum size requirement – choose size that best represents your work for judging. 7. Submit digital work as PDF on CD/DVD – Windows format preferred. Judges will use Windows Media Player. 8. We require a screen shot and live URL for web submissions – if not live or protected, submit on CD/DVD with three or more screen shots. 9. Submit radio work as mp3 files on CD/DVD – Windows format preferred. 10. Submit television work on DVD – self opening files only – judges view using Windows Media Player. 11. Campaigns must have three or more elements. 12. If submission is not in the proper format, it will be disqualified and not judged. 13. All entries in Collateral/Photography must be an actual photo or item. We will not accept thumb drives, CD’s or by email. 14. Magazine and Newspaper entries must be original tear sheet. No screen shots or Xerox copies will be acceptable. 15. Packaging entries should be supplied with actual sample. 16. Where possible, Bus and Transit entries should also be accompanied by an actual sample 17. Social Media should come with url’s, cd’s, dvd’s or flash drives for judging and be accompanied with a screen shot to be used for the exhibition. Deadline for entries is February 27, 2015. Local adaptations of national ads are not eligible. Entries must have been published, produced or aired between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2014. All entries are judged by impartial out-of-state advertising organizations. Judges’ decisions are final. If you’ve been selected for an award, you’ll receive a letter by mid April 2015, notifying you which entry, client and category has won. Selection means that you have won either a First or Second Place trophy or a Certificate of Merit. Winning a first place trophy puts you in the running for a Best in Category and a Best in Show trophy. The precise award will be announced on June 10, 2015 at the Jersey Awards Dinner. Entries not properly labeled according to the official guidelines will not be judged. An entry form MUST be attached to each entry and MUST be entered in the proper category (see njadclub.org for entry form information). The Jersey Awards Committee reserves the right to re-categorize any entry entered in the wrong category without notification. All entries are the property of the NJ Ad Club and cannot be returned.
