INSTRUCTIONS
1. Forms for registration of Emergency Alert Service will be downloaded from the
official website of Punjab Police (http://punjabpolice.gov.pk) department, Punjab
Information Technology Board (http://www.pitb.gov.pk) and will also be available
at all Police Stations of Punjab Police
2.
Filled Registration Forms will be submitted to the concerned Police Station for
verification.
3.
Emergency alert system can only be accessed from Ufone SIMs, therefore only
Ufone numbers of authorized persons will be required. It can be an existing or a
new Ufone Number.
4.
Verification process will be completed within 3-5 days.
5.
After verification the applicants will be informed through SMS.
6.
Once the confirmation is received, applicant will be able to access the
emergency alarm system by dialing *55# or via EAS application which will be
available on open android market for free.
7.
The Emergency Alert Service will generate alerts from the registered Ufone SIMs
only, Non-registered Ufone numbers will not be able to access or generate
alarms.
8.
The alarm will be generated from registered Ufone number even if there is no
balance in the SIM as this is free of cost.
9.
The Emergency Alert Service should ONLY be used in the event of TERRORISM
and FIRING ON SCHOOL / COLLEGE / UNIVERSITY.
