Randall Kropp & Henrik Belfrage The Assessment of Risk for Honour Based Violence, also known as the PATRIARCH, developed by Drs. Randall Kropp, Henrik Belfrage, and Stephen Hart, are structured professional judgment (SPJ) guidelines designed for use by law enforcement, criminal justice, security, child protection, school, post-secondary institution, and mental health personnel. Randall Kropp is a clinical and forensic psychologist specializing in the assessment and management of violent offenders. He has conducted numerous workshops for mental health professionals, police officers, corrections staff, and others in North America, Australia, Asia, Africa, and Europe. He is co-author to several works on risk assessment, including the SARA, the B-SAFER, the SVR-20, the RSVP, the SAM, and the PATRIARCH. He works for the Forensic Psychiatric Services Commission of British Columbia, Canada, ProActive ReSolutions, Inc., and is Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Simon Fraser University. Henrik Belfrage is co-author of the PATRIARCH, the B-SAFER (SARA:SV), and the HCR-20:V3. He has performed numerous violence risk assessments on incarcerated perpetrators, in both the Swedish correctional system and in forensic psychiatry.
