Online (HE) Study
Important Information:
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS:
Exam Week
Deferred Final Exams for Online Subjects
Exam week falls in either week 17/18 as indicated on the calendar
overleaf and consists of online exams and quizzes as well as any final
assessments to be uploaded for marking.
If you are unable to attend the nominated exam date as indicated
in The Loop then you must submit a Deferred Assessment
Application form with supporting evidence, no later than three (3)
working days after the PUBLISHED date of the exam/s. If
students do not attend a nominated exam or do not submit a
Deferred Assessment Application form this will result in an
automatic fail grade for the subject. The Deferred Application form
can be found on your student Portal under the “forms” tab.
Students will need to contact their local Student Adviser for further
information.
Endeavour will be closed on the following National Public Holidays.
Classes will not be held.

Online Quizzes
After week 7 notices will be placed on the Learning Management
System (LMS) under the Discussion Forum called The Loop for each
subject that has a paper-based/written final exam. This notice will
indicate exact day, date and time during the exam week of the final
exam for the relevant online subject.
It is the student’s responsibility at all times to regularly check The
Loop for important final examination updates and information.

HOW TO LOG INTO THE
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS):
For online subjects that have paper-based/written final exams,
students will need to attend the closest Endeavour campus to sit the
exam. All paper-based/written final exams will be scheduled during
the week indicated on the calendar overleaf under the heading Week
16/17 – Exam Week. Students need to keep this week clear of
commitments until further notification of exact date and time of final
exam is published.
All Online Quizzes need to be completed within the due date as
specified within the subject outline and assessment criteria.
How To Change Password in LMS
Students can request a change in password, which is located in
their student profile within the LMS.
External Invigilation for Online Subjects
How To Update Personal Details
LEARNING
If students are new to the Online Learning Management System (LMS),
an email will be sent to them with their login details the Friday before
their subject starts.
Only those students who live more than 100km from the nearest
Endeavour Campus will be eligible to arrange for an External
Invigilator to oversee a paper-based/written final exam. If you live
more than 100km away then you must lodge your application 30 days
prior to the PUBLISHED exam date/s. External invigilation can be
supervised by a qualified Medical Practitioner, Librarian or
Professional (eg. Lawyer, Banker). External invigilation cannot be
overseen by a colleague, friend or family member. Students will need
to contact their local Student Adviser for further information.
Students can update their personal profile within the Student
Portal. This can be done by clicking on the Profile Tab.
Students can access the LMS by clicking on the “Online Learning
Login” on the Endeavour Home Page. Alternatively they can go directly
to: http://learn.endeavour.edu.au
If students have not received their email yet, they can email
[email protected] for further assistance.
