Kaunisvaara – LCS Involvement
Integration with LCS
• Early involvement from LCS in design, include global experience
from LCS in how to improve plant design in order to minimize
down time.
• LCS involvement in erection and commissioning gives smooth
transfer from project to operations.
• Per ton basis for LCS contract for maintenace of all equipment
• Lower Capex due to spare and wears included in LCS (for
example mill liner handler)
• Higher plant availability
• Lower overall operating costs
