A Message from the Director
Happy New Year, all! Can you believe it’s 2015?! I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday season! It is my personal favorite time of the
year. It was so nice meeting so many of you at our annual Classic Holiday Party! We had an attendance of over 300, so that is always
great to see! I hope to meet many more of you in 2015 during fun outings and events. Don’t forget to mark your calendar for our first
event of the year at the London Tea Room January 28th! If you can’t make it to that, I’d love to see you at other upcoming outings such
as the St. Louis Symphony in February or at the Fox Theatre in March! Remember, all seating is limited with the trips.
I’m always happy to hear your ideas and requests for day trips, so if there is something you are interested in doing with the Classic Club,
please be sure to let me know! Feel free to contact me at 314-746-4662 or at [email protected] with any questions, or
day trip ideas you may have!
Stay warm this winter!
Best Regards,
Amanda Keeteman

Tips to stay warm this winter!
- Several light, comfortably fitted layers are preferable to a single heavy layer.
- Using your oven heats up the whole house.
- A good pair of boots are essential.
- Wool has the important advantage of retaining its warmth even when wet.
- Keep blankets on your couch so that you can wrap yourself up while reading or watching TV.
- Delicious winter soups and hot cocoa are part of the fun of this season. Hot tea and coffee, and substantial foods will keep your body warm as well.
