The Oak Leaf Boma Braai Menu The package is priced from only R350 per person and includes the following: Welcome juice or cocktail per guest. Private entrance and welcome area The menu includes a welcome platter on arrival for your guest (Country wors flame grilled with a BBQ mayo dip). Then the spit braai will include 2 meats (chicken & Beef), 2 starch, 2 vegetable, 3 salads and 3 desserts. Hot bread rolls and condiments will also be served. Coffee and tea Requests for lamb on the spit carry a R30 surcharge per guest. This does not apply to the main restaurant or outside area. 3 General Terms & Conditions All menu packages except Boma Braai menu include a plated starter main course buffet and a plated dessert Plated main course will only be accommodated on groups of 80 or less. Groups of 80 or more, main course will be served as buffet. Standard round or rectangle tables to seat 8-10 people each Standard plastic chairs with cover, no arm. Cream/white table cloths and serviettes Standard cutlery and crockery Wine/ champagne glasses 10% gratuity is added to the final bill Please note breakfast function is from 8am until 11.30pm. Lunch function is from 12.30pm until 4.30pm. Dinner function is from 7pm to 12pm. Please note that you are not permitted to bring you own beverages or alcohol. A R50 corkage fee will be levied on pre-arranged wine bottles, should we not stock or be able to source the wine for you. A maximum of 2 bottles per ten guests will be permitted. Deposit and payment terms Within fourteen days of confirmation of the date, 50% deposit of the food is required. If a venue hire fee is applicable, the full amount is payable together with 50% of the food total. The 50% balance of the food total is payable seven days prior to the function date. Final numbers to be confirmed 7days prior to the function. In the event of a drink limit been set, this amount is payable on arrival of the function date. Any additional increases of the limit will be paid upfront if required. A 10% gratuity as added to the final bill including food and drinks. This is payable on presentation of the final bill Cancellation or rescheduling Cancellation Terms 30 days prior to the function date 100% refund. 14 days prior to the function date, 50% refund. 7 days prior to the function date, NO REFUND Rescheduling terms 30 days prior no cost incurred. 14 days prior, 10% of total food cost penalty. 7 days prior, 25 % of total food cost penalty. In the event that we are able to full the date that you originally booked we will gladly waiver the penalty charge. In the event that we cannot accommodate the requested change, the cancellation terms above apply. Boma Hire Exclusive Hire Rates Provisional booking will be held for 14 days. Boma Hire Fee rates: Monday- Thursday R3000 Minimum 50 guests 4 Friday Saturday & Sunday Public holidays R5000 Minimum 70 guests R6500 Minimum 70 guests R6500 Minimum 70 guests A R500 non refundable deposit is required on confirmation of the venue. The venue hire fee is payable within 14 days thereafter. The venue hire fee includes the following: Exclusive use of the boma and its facilities Ample free parking Private Boma entrance and welcome area The Boma can accommodate from 50-200 guests Standard round or rectangle tables to seat 8-10 people each Standard plastic chairs with cover, no arm.
