Proposed KCMO
Energy Empowerment
Ordinance Passed by
Committee
The Energy Empowerment Ordinance, formally known
as the Benchmarking Energy and Water Use
Ordnance, was passed out of Committee this
morning. These will go before the City Council for
discussion, and likely a vote, on Thursday May
21st. The City Council Legislative Session is at 3pm,
26th floor Council Chambers. No additional public
testimony will be heard. The agenda will be available
about 1pm that day.
Along with the USGBC & the City Energy Project
(CEP), BOMA will be presenting a lunch n learn
workshop on the BOMA 360 Performance Program.

for a tour of this unique natural history
museum , back of house mechanicals, &
conference spaces. The cocktail reception
will overlook the natural rain water
landscaping on the exterior of the building.
