CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS to impact children around the world Pattern Instructions: 1. Print pages 1-3 of this file (make sure it is on landscape setting for printing). DID YOU KNOW many children who celebrate Christmas do not receive a gift? Some have NEVER received one! This is your opportunity to GIVE them a gift this Christmas. 2. Overlap the two pages (trim as needed) to form the entire stocking pattern into one piece. Use the thick, red dotted line to match the pieces. The Christmas Impact project is a great way to provide children with not only 1 but 3 GREAT GIFTS! 3. Tape the pieces together and then cut the pattern out using the outside edges of the dotted line. (For a longer lasting pattern, trace it onto a piece of posterboard before using). GIFT OF LOVE 4. Cut the stocking shape out twice using RED felt or other heavy RED fabric. 5. Sew pieces together securely together along the outer edge. 6. Decorate the stocking using markers, paint, glitter, etc. Please avoid gender specifc designs and threedimensional objects. You may sign your family’s name but do not include additional personal information in the card (address, phone number, photos, etc.) 8. Ship the stocking, $10 gift, Christmas card and Information card (to recieve a photo) by DECEMBER 9. YOU can make a stocking for a needy child. Then, our teams in Latin America will fill the stockings using your $10 donation. They will distribute the stockings to children who may not receive anything else for Christmas. They will also share the greatest gift the Christmas story - with these children. Please help us love needy children this Christmas by making one - or many - stockings! This is a great project to do with friends and family. Together, we can impact children this Christmas.
