Chet and Thelma Gray celebrated 50 years of marriage
in the Outer Banks. Marilen King is thankful that
Chesterbrook Residences won the Community Partner
from the McLean Chamber. Ralf Berthiez had fun at a
Classic Car Show in Ct. Bob Hahne’s Granddaughter
did a great job pitching for McLean HS.
John Rosenbaum was excited about the renovation of
Univ of MD golf course and PGA Tour playing there.

ROTARY’S PolioPlus GLOBAL EFFORT
1. “By the time the world is certified polio-free,
Rotary’s contributions to the global polio eradication
effort will be nearly US$650 million.
2. Since 1988, 5 million people, who otherwise would
be paralyzed with polio, are now walking because of Rotary efforts.
3. Rotary and its global partners vaccinated over 2 billion children in 2005.
4. More than 1 million Rotarians worldwide have contributed toward
polio eradication efforts.
