The deadline to request a refund for the student tickets is Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 5:00pm. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER THE DEADLINE. Frequently Asked Questions: What are the requirements to receive tickets? Students must be enrolled as a full-time student with all fees and tuition paid to be eligible to receive student tickets. If your program is not listed below (i.e. GAA, GRA, GTA), full time status varies depending on the program/appointment with the University. Please see your program coordinator/academic advisor for more information regarding your specific program. The definition of a full-time student is: Undergraduate: 12 hours or more Master, Doctoral Candidate and Graduate Professional: 8 hours or more Post Doctoral (Post Candidacy): 3 hours Students in their graduating semester who do not meet the full time student status requirement may order a season ticket by providing documentation at the time of pickup from their respective college advisor on department letterhead that stipulates that the reason this student is not full time is that they will be graduating at the end of the semester. I am only interested in going to some of the option games. Do I have to buy the student package to be eligible to buy the option games? Students do not have to purchase the student package to be eligible to purchase the option games. How do I redeem my ticket on game night? Each game day, students will line up at the student entrance to the Schottenstein Center (Southwest Rotunda). Depending upon the size of the line, arena personnel may issue wristbands to maintain the integrity of the line. Approximately 90 minutes prior to tipoff, the student entrance will open. Students will proceed to the ticket redemption area where their BuckID will be scanned to authenticate the student ticket(s) loaded on their BuckID. Although one BuckID may contain multiple student tickets, all attendees must be present at the time of authentication, and will be required to show valid BuckID to gain entry. Upon verification, each attendee will be provided a hard ticket for a reserved seat in the student seating area, on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be required to enter the game immediately. As in the past, those wishing to sit together must arrive at the arena and have their BuckIDs authenticated at the same time. The first 1400 student tickets redeemed will be located in the lower level of the arena, and all subsequent student tickets redeemed will be in the upper level of the arena. If I cannot attend a game how can another OSU student use my ticket? If students are not able to attend a game they will have the option to transfer their ticket to another OSU student’s valid BuckID through an online transfer process. A maximum of 4 tickets will be allowed to be transferred to any one BuckID; however each student ticket will still require a valid BuckID to be shown at the student entrance for entry to the game. For example, if one BuckID contains 4 tickets, all 4 attendees must be present, and will be required to show a valid BuckID to gain admittance to the game. Specific instructions for completing the online transfer process can be found by referencing the Student Men’s Basketball Ticket Transfer Instructions. (Coming Soon!) Can I have my tickets printed rather than having them loaded on to my BuckID? No. Student men’s basketball tickets will only be loaded onto valid BuckIDs. What happens if I lose my BuckID? rd If a student loses their BucKID they will need to go to the BuckID Office located on the 3 Floor of the Ohio Union and get a new BuckID. The tickets will then be transferred from the old BuckID number to the new BuckID number. How does the Men’s Basketball Student Attendance Incentive Program work? See the following pages for details.
