What is Parent WebAdvisor?
As a parent, you may need access to view your student’s academic and financial information. If your child grants you access (instructions on the
other side), you will be able to review your student's bill/account and make payments, financial aid status, award letter, class schedule, final grades,
and view an unofficial transcript.
What is Northwood NOW!?
Northwood University adapted an emergency notification system, known as Northwood NOW!, as an additional communication tool for students,
faculty, staff, parents and family members to stay informed in the event of an emergency situation. The service allows users to select what type of
information they wish to receive, and how they receive it. Currently, the notification options include e-mail, text messages, or land line phone options.

and choose the parent tab below!

Provide Parent with Access to Parent WebAdvisor

Log into My.northwood.edu
Click the WebAdvisor tab, then the Student menu
Click ‘My Parents’ under the Academic Profile heading
Under the ‘Parents Without Access’ area, Enter your parent’s e-mail address in the ‘Please enter your
parent’s e-mail address’ field, and check the ‘Give Access’ checkbox
Click Submit
Upon clicking Submit, the Parent Access Confirmation Screen will populate
Verify the following fields are correct:
a. Parent’s Name
b. Access Change (Give Access or Remove Access)
c. Parent’s Email
Click Submit
The parent e-mail address will receive login instructions and credentials for Parent WebAdvisor within
24 hours.

Login to Parent WebAdvisor

Go to My.northwood.edu, then Click the Parents Tab
On the Parents Tab, Click the Login to WebAdvisor link

The WebAdvisor window will open, Click the Login Button

Login with your user id (email address your
student provided at signup) and password.
o User Ids and Passwords are case sensitive
o If this is your fist time logging in, use the
temporary password found in the
‘Northwood Parent Access Credentials’ email

You will be asked to change your password if this
is the first time you have logged in.

Click the Parents Folder

Click the My Students link
-
Select your student, then select the information you would like to view from the drop down and click SUBMIT.
