9 February 2015 Dear Parents / Guardians, RE: CHINESE NEW YEAR PERFORMERS WEDNESDAY 11 FEBRUARY Thank you for confirming that your child / children can perform in the Chinese New Year Celebration on Wednesday 11 February from 6 :30 pmpm -8: 00pm. 00 pm. We attach a copy of your form along with the tickets requested. If your child is performing, he or she will not require a ticket and so please return any tickets not needed as demand for the performance is high. There will be pre-performance drinks on sale in the foyer by the PTA from 5:45pm onwards and Chinese New Year food generously provided by BISS Puxi Chinese parents before the performance too. For pupils who are staying at school, arrangements have been made to supervise your children. Please ask your child to bring a book or something to do as it will be a long evening. Children who have requested a packed meal to be provided will be catered for; could all other students please ensure they bring something to eat. If you have told us that your child will go home before the performance, please ensure that he/she returns to the secondary dining hall by 5:45pm already changed for the performance. At the end of the performance, it is critically important that parents stay in the Auditorium until they are asked to collect their child. We have over 200 children performing and we will need parents to be patient and to collect them in an orderly fashion. Children will be released in year group order staring with the Year 1 pupils.
