Wishing to be faithful to the Father, he spent me by himself a er the busy noise of the day, in quiet prayer of the heart. In this way, he made sure that he remained connected to the purpose of all this ac vity. Then he moved on, for his mission was not to seek comfort and applause, but to bring the Good News to everyone. We see this a tude echoed in the second reading by St. Paul, the good steward who can say, “I do all that I do for the sake of the Gospel in the hope of sharing in its blessings.” A Ques on Even in the midst of success, we can experience Job’s weariness. Why is that? Does it just mean we are physically red, or is it telling us something? What can we do about it? Do we need to do anything? Sacraments This past week we completed the celebra ons of First Reconcilia on for the children of our parish who are preparing for First Communion. My thanks to the children, their parents, teachers, the Sacramental Prepara on team and all others involved in making this the best possible spiritual experience. My thanks also to you for your prayers and example as the children con nue to prepare to celebrate First Communion during the Easter season. As followers of Jesus, we are called by him to give witness to his Gospel. May he bless us and guide us, so we may indeed be signs of his love in our world.
