Wednesday Evening TOPICS Bible Studies
We are excited to announce that EFBC will be hosting the
Singing Churchmen and Singing Churchwomen of
Oklahoma for their “Applause of Heaven” concert on
Thursday, February 12, at 7:00 PM in the Worship Center.
Open to everyone, this will be a wonderful evening as the
350 voice choir and orchestra lead us in music worship. “The
Applause of Heaven” is the title track for the recording made
by this group two years ago and will be available for
purchase at the concert. Several EFBC members are a part of
this fine group of Oklahoma Baptist musicians.
Wednesday evenings offer a multitude of opportunities
for the entire family from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. TOPICS are
Bible studies designed to provide relevant, practical
answers to questions about God and the Christian life. For

Men’s Rewired Spring Retreat “Mask”
For men and boys 13-18 who are
accompanied by an adult,
Rewired is a movement taking
place in the hear ts of men
committed to impacting their
family, church, and community
for Jesus Christ. Speakers include
Alex Kendrick, Jeff Struecker,
Keith Burkhart, Matt Roberson,
Lance Lang, Brandon Guindon,
Bubba Burcham, and Lew Sterrett.
Activities include a CrossFit
contest, archery, climbing wall, darts, rope course, skeet
shooting, trout fishing, and zip line.

Multiplication. This February the College Ministry will be
launching six new Connection Group opportunities; a ladies
class, two coeds, graduates, and three on campus. These
groups will live out the EFBC vision “Connecting to Christ, His
Church, His Word, and His Mission”. They will meet here on
Sunday mornings in Fellowship Hall and also on our two
local campuses. Introduce a college-aged student to EFBC

SAINTS ALIVE: Humble Heroes of the New Testament
Who is the only woman in the New Testament to be specifically
designated a “disciple”? You will learn the answer to that
question (if you can't dig it out for yourself) and much more
about one of the most interesting New Testament
personalities. SAINTS ALIVE is a series of Bible-based,
biographical studies of lesser-known personalities of the New
Testament and of what they can teach us about living the

A Study in Nehemiah
This ongoing study is for anyone who wants to get a head start
on the lesson for the upcoming Sunday morning Bible study
or if you will be out and don’t want to miss a lesson. Join Jerry

Women’s BGCO Spring Retreat “Heroes”
“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord
of hosts.” - Zechariah 4:6
Do you consider yourself a hero? How about
Superwoman? Your hero status is not dependent on
your human might or power - it comes from the power
of His Spirit living within you. As a woman of God, you
are called to be a superhuman life. Personalities
include Lisa Bevere, Rebekah Lyons, Annie Downs, and
Marcy Priest. Whether it’s flying on the new zip line,
testing your speed in the annual 5K, or learning how to
use a sword, set aside time during the retreat to exercise
your super powers.

A Heritage of Faith: Leading Your Child to Christ
You will discover your heritage, how to create a heritage, and
pass your heritage along to your children. Join Brian Frank in

 The Truth Project
This is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical
perspective discussing the relevance and importance of living
the Christian world view. Join Billy Fuller and Chris Yandell in
Room W106.
33 The Series: A Man and His Design
This study will inspire and equip men to pursue authentic
manhood as modeled by Jesus Christ in His 33 years on Earth.
Explore the basic foundations of authentic manhood and God’s
clear design for men. Join Craig Ilschner in Room W105.

Baptist Mission Center Project on February 18
Everyone is welcome to join the HappyTimers’ Ministry as
they volunteer at the Baptist Mission Center in Oklahoma
City on Wednesday, February 18. Meet at EFBC at 8:00 AM
and return by noon.
This month, EFBC’s emphasis will be on food donations,
clothing, socks and underwear for men, and personal
hygiene items. In addition, this is a great place to donate yur
empty medication bottles. Drop off donations at EFBC’s
Church Office by Tuesday, February 17. For more

Stop by the registration desk on the first floor of the
Children’s Wing or sign up in your Connection Group for
an evening without the kids on Friday, February 27, from

the epic contest pitting Students’ against the Children’s and

The two interns with the least amount of quarters will get
waxed! Everyone can join in the fun. You can find their

Bible Drill (4th thru 6th Grade)
Bible Drill is for children and preteens in grades 4th thru
6th grade. Individuals will learn 25 verses, 10 key
passages, and the books of the Bible. This is the pinnacle
of discipleship for this age. Encourage your child to be a
part of Bible Drill. Meet this afternoon at 4:30 PM in the
Student Life Center.
ONE NIGHT (5th thru 6th grade)
On Saturday, February 28, thru Sunday, March 1, preteens and
their friends are invited for a ONE NIGHT experience that will
radically change their lives. It will be the largest sleep over,
boys at one house and girls at another, which you will ever
have. This night will challenge you, encourage you, and
prepare you for the next step in life. Don’t miss out. Cost is
$15. Bring clothes to sleep in, swim suit, and clothes for
Sunday (it’s Uptown Kids Day), also bring sleeping bags and
pillows. Pick up and drop off at EFBC Children’s Wing. Sign
