This course is a no running event where the team completes some easy challenges. Last year those challenges were a water bottle toss, a corn-hole toss, a matching game and an easy trivia question. This challenge is completed in the street for the enjoyment of the team members and the Sunscape cheering section. The Golf Cart race isn't a race but a death defying timed contest where the driver navigates around an “S” shaped obstacle course while blindfolded. Oh, by the way, the navigator provides the eyes and gives steering directions at the breakneck speed of .00236 miles per hour. This “race” easily overshadows any excitement that you have had at the national NASCAR tracks. What? You say no food? It’s Sunscape of course there is food. The food events require a prior ticket purchase except ice cream sales. There will be Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Pulled Pork, Baked Beans, Chips, Drinks, Ice Cream, Donuts, and the always popular Bake Sale. The Mystery Dinner comes with some additional instructions. Mainly bring an empty plate and your drink but nothing else!!!!!! You will be searched for contraband utensils. This is a four course meal. The sequence is up to you (that’s the mystery). Our dealers will be there to show you the ropes. Food & drinks are included in the ticket price. Of course, Do Not Forget to Purchase Raffle Tickets. They are available at all the ticket sales table times. All other Park Party tickets ( Mystery Dinner, Thursday grill lunch, Saturday Pulled Pork Lunch and Casino Night) will be available at all ticket sales tables and the Activity Director’s Office.
