SPRING/SUMMER 2015 Box Office 01900 602122 www.carnegietheatre.co.uk EPERFORMMONROESTICKETINGGIGSFESTIVALSTHEATREARTSCAFE Welcome, to our fantastic season of events for 2015. We have had such a roller coaster over the past few month, our busiest Autumn/Winter for some years, a hugely successful pantomime and now the announced move to become our own independent charitable trust. But, you, the public have supported us throughout and are such a big part of what makes the Carnegie very special – it makes all the hard work so worthwhile. 2015 at the Carnegie is a spectacular mix of musicals, music, family entertainment and comedy. Comedy this season is provided by the wonderful, Andrew O’Neill, the outrageous Roy Chubby Brown, the uniquely free Lewis Schaffer and the hilarious Reduced Shakespeare Company. We are bursting at the seams with musicals as WAOS Juniors present Grease, WADAMS bring Sister Act, MAODS produce Ghost – The Musical and Project Autumn grace us with Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds. Later in the year we will also have productions of Fame and Evita to delight and entertain you. Musically, as always there is a hugely eclectic mix to choose from with rock from Limehouse Lizzie and the fantastic Quireboys, pop nostalgia from Waterloo, punk rock from The Hostiles and country music from Michael English. For families and young audiences we have Imagination Entertainment’s first full theatre production of Once Upon A Fairytale and Channel 5 will be bringing us their pre-school favourite characters with Milkshake Live. Thank you for continuing to support your local venue and we look forward to welcoming you again soon.
