BAPTISMS:
By appointment only. Parents have a duty to attend a baptismal
class, which are held monthly and can be done prior to your
child’s birth. Godparents are to be at least 16 years of age, have
received Holy Communion and Confirmation, and practice their
Catholic faith. A baptized person who belongs to a non-Catholic
ecclesial community may be admitted in the company of a
Catholic sponsor, serving as a Christian Witness. Please call the
rectory office at 343-2160 for further information.
MARRIAGE:
Father Kreinheder must be contacted at least six (6) months
prior to the wedding date.

articles tell us when (1915), where (Oswego
City Clerk’s Office), and who (Rev. John
Grimes, Bishop; Rev. Michael Clune, Vicar-General; Father
Pip Parolin, Rector; and Angelo Peluso and Alfonso D’Amico, laymen), but no WHY. Please call Laura at the rectory

Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday is February 18 and a day of fast and
abstinence. Catholics ages 14 years or older must abstain
from meat on Ash Wednesday and the Fridays of Lent. Catholics from ages 18-59, along with the abstinence of meat,
must limit themselves to one full meal and two snacks
throughout the day. Ashes will be distributed during the Ash
Wednesday Masses:
St. Stephen’s—7 a.m.
St. Peter’s—8 a.m. and 11 a.m.
St. Paul’s— 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
St. Joseph’s—12:10 p.m.
