Does anyone remember WHY
St. Joseph’s Church was named
for the great Saint Joseph?
Newspaper articles tell us when
(1915), where (Oswego City Clerk’s
Office), and who (Rev. John Grimes,
Bishop; Rev. Michael Clune, Vicar-General; Father Pip
Parolin, Rector; and Angelo Peluso and Alfonso D’Amico,
laymen), but no WHY. Please call Laura at the rectory office,
343-2160, with this information. Grazie!
Trinity Catholic School will hold an Open House on
Wednesday, February 11, at 6:30 p.m. for parents interested

Trinity has programs available for 3 and 4 year old children
as well as kindergarten through grade 6. For more information, contact the school office at 343-6700.

abstinence. Catholics ages 14 years or older must abstain
from meat on Ash Wednesday and the Fridays of Lent. Catholics from ages 18-59, along with the abstinence of meat,

throughout the day.
