Clive and Anne Arnold, wildlife photographers, and founders of Safaris Into Africa will be your personal escorts on your
wonderful adventure. Both are from Africa, and have now made Australia their home. They have always been committed
to animal conservation and are well known in Australia and Africa for their contributions to wildlife preservation. They are
passionate about Africa and love photographing, filming and producing wildlife documentaries. Travel with Clive and
experience” THE GREATEST WILDLIFE SHOW ON EARTH”, the annual migration of 2 million wildebeest and Zebra from the
Serengeti to the wilderness of Kenya’s world famous Masai Mara.
For 20 years they have been taking people on safari in Africa to explore the wilderness of Africa with its amazing landscapes
and spectacular animals that have inspired travellers and wildlife lovers to visit this amazing continent. The selection
of wildlife sanctuaries and planned experiences interacting with the wildlife is a potent mix of high emotions and pure
enjoyment for lovers of the truly outdoor experience. Nowhere else in the world offers such thrilling opportunities for getting
close to Africa’s Big game. Nor for encountering such a huge variety of different species of animals and birds. For a truly
cultural experience you visit some of the local tribes.
Their intimate knowledge of Africa, its people, wildlife and geography
ensure that at all times your safari is the experience of a lifetime and
one that will give you plenty to talk about at the waterhole. We have
carefully selected some small private camps for our tours which
are located in some of the best wildlife areas for an authentic safari
experience.
Our tours are personalised with a minimum of 6 and maximum of 10
people per safari in Southern Africa and 6 to 12 people on our East
Africa Safaris. We try to hold a meeting with all clients prior to their
departure for Africa.
We can also specialize in tailor made safaris, for that special safari
experience, to suit individual interests, budget and style, or contact us
to organise your corporate tours.

6 Day/7 night Congo
6 Day/7 night Congo option
Odzala-Kokoua is one of Africa’s oldest national parks, having been
proclaimed by the French administration in 1935. It covers some 13600
square kilometers (1.360 million hectares) of pristine rain forest and is an
integral part of both the Congo Basin and the TRIDOM Transfrontier Park
which traverses three countries.
Deep in this tropical Congo rainforest it is possible to meet up with one of
the great apes of Africa the Western Lowland Gorilla. Here in the vast Congo
Basin, is the world’s second largest tropical rainforest. There are more than
100 mammal species of which around 50 are classified as medium- or
large sized. Odzala has the highest number of diurnal primates for any forest
block in central Africa, as well as Africa’s highest density of Western Lowland
Gorillas and central Africa’s highest density of Chimpanzee. The Chimpanzee
are not habituated are often heard but rarely seen along the rivers.he dense
Congo rainforest is a place where it is possible to meet one of the great apes
of Africa: the Western Lowland Gorilla. This, combined with the exploration of
a remote, thriving and unspoiled rainforest system, is the Odzala experience.
Some of the other species of animals in the forest and the bais areas are
Bongo, Sitatunga, Forest buffalo, Forest elephant, Dwarf crocodile, Guezera
Colobus, Mangaby monkey, moustached monkey, De Brazza’s monkey,
Angolan talapoin, chevrotain, hippo, slender snouted crocodile, to name
a few. Bais, or salines, are swampy, grassy areas that are dotted across
the rainforest and which offer a rare chance to catch a glimpse beyond
the ‘green curtain’ into the lives of the forest dwellers. Viewing at the Bais
requires patience. The Bais we visit in Odzala-Kokoua are relatively small
and as a result offer the opportunity for close up viewing of various species.
Viewing animals and birds in forested areas is always a challenge, the
dense environment is slow going and a skilled guide with a comprehensive
knowledge of animal behaviour and calls is essential for sightings.
There are approximately 430 bird species recorded in the Congo basin, 300
of these species are known to breed in the area. The diverse array of breeding
habitats in the forest makes this an ideal area for such a large variety of bird
species.

4 Days Kalahari

4 Days Kalahari
The name Kalahari is derived from the Tswana work “Kgala”, meaning
the great thirst, or “Kgalagadi”, meaning the waterless place. It has been
inhabited by the (San) Bushman for years as hunter-gatherers, who lived
in a harmonious relationship with the environment. However, due to its
harsh environment, modern day man found its unfavourable conditions
unsuitable to develop. It is for this reason that man has had almost no
impact on the land, and the Kalahari has remained a true wilderness area.
The southern Kalahari, due to its location and local climatic conditions,
receives somewhat more rain than the central Kalahari, allowing it
to support a large diversity of life. It is for this reason that the southern
Kalahari is frequently referred to as the “Green Kalahari”.
Because of its unique landscape, wildlife and experience, the Kalahari
combines perfectly into any itinerary and provides the ideal partnership
with both the intensity of the lowveld or the glamour of Cape Town.
The Lodge
The Lodge is located in a malaria-free area, welcomes families and actively
encourages children to participate fully in the safari experience
moments can rival gently walking through a herd of sable antelope on

Some of the animal species found in this area are:

Meerkats
Cheetah.
Rare antelope such as roan, sable and tsessebe;
Diversity. Over 70 species of mammal and 230 species of birds (including

Kalahari animals it attracts.

Rehabilitation of Wildlife
33
As conservationists we are always working to save our wildlife in Africa. We work with a variety of organizations. In 2013 we rescued 7 leopards, 4
of which went to new game parks in Malawi. As you can see in picture number 7, the mother leopard with a collar and her 2 new born cubs which are
the first cubs born in Malawi since 1970. We micro-chipped 3 Rhino, and saved 2 lionesses from snares. See pictures 5 & 6.
We would like to thank the people who have travelled with us and supported us with donations to help rescue and rehabilitate these animals. It is due
to the generosity and sponsorship from you that we are able to sustain our wildlife numbers.
